What's new at Luminary: January update

Growth Projections by Asset Class

New to Luminary: customize your projections even further, with our latest release that allows you to model custom growth rates for different asset classes in the Estate Waterfall. This new feature, available today to all customers, allows you to:

• Define your firm’s growth rates for individual asset categories
• Automatically apply your growth rates in any new estate waterfalls created, or select the option to apply a blended rate

Document Summary Export to Word

With our latest update, you can now export document summaries directly to Word, making it easier than ever to customize your Luminary outputs. Use your .docx formatted file to share directly with clients, or include in other presentations.

Offshore Jurisdictions

Luminary now offers the option to mark an entity that is not domiciled in the US, as “offshore.” This option will appear in the jurisdiction dropdown and be included as a possible suggestion via AI data extraction.

Gift Proposal Enhancements

We’ve made several improvements to gift proposals to improve your experience, including:

• Adding the ability to toggle on and off exemption sunsets to compare scenarios in a single analysis.
• Offering the option to attribute cashflows to either the in estate portfolio or to any of the modeled out of estate portfolios.
